Florida Citrus Mutual announced that its Oct. 12 Citrus Crop Estimate Luncheon will be in a different format than initially planned. The morning clay shoot will not take place, and there has been a change in location for the event.
The new location and tentative agenda is as follows:
Bert J. Harris Jr. Agricultural Center
Sam Polston Auditorium
4509 George Blvd.
Sebring, FL 33875
Plan to arrive at the Ag Center around 11 a.m., so the program can begin at 11:15 a.m. Florida Citrus Mutual Executive Vice President/Chief Executive Officer Mike Sparks will provide an update on the Hurricane Irma relief package and other important information growers may need.
A barbecue lunch will be served at 11:50 a.m., and the U.S. Department of Agriculture crop estimate will be released at noon.
Listen to the live webcast of the estimate here on the Citrus Industry website.
RSVP for the luncheon to Melanie at 863-682-1116 or email@example.com.
