Citrus Executive Named Chair of Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association

The Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association (FFVA) has named Steven Callaham, chief executive officer of Dundee Citrus Growers Association, as its chair for 2024–26.

“Steven Callaham has long been a driving force in Florida’s citrus industry. His leadership, vision and dedication have strengthened the resilience and future success of the agricultural community,” said FFVA President Mike Joyner. “With his commitment to innovation and collaboration, Steven is well positioned to lead our organization forward.”

Callaham has been a champion for citrus under protective screen (CUPS) production. Under his leadership, Dundee Citrus Growers Association members have steadily increased their CUPS acreage and profitability. He has also helped diversify the association to include peach and blueberry production.

FFVA members also voted to appoint Mike Sullivan, president of Gargiulo, Inc., to its board of directors. The appointments were made at the association’s board of directors and annual membership meetings on Sept. 17.
