Nominations are being sought through Sept. 15 for potential inductees to the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame. Eligible nominees are those distinguished leaders who have made significant contributions to the Florida citrus industry in any of the following fields: pioneering, harvesting, packing, processing, marketing, science and/or education. The Florida Citrus Hall of Fame was established in 1962.
In the fall, nominations will be gathered, and inductees will be chosen. The new members will be inducted at the annual Hall of Fame luncheon in March 2026. Read about the 2025 inductees here.
All nomination forms and corresponding information are due to the Selection Committee by Sept. 15 to be considered for 2026. Any information received after this date will be considered the next year.
When making a nomination, provide detailed relevant background information describing the nominee’s contributions to the citrus industry, along with a photo of the nominee. The impact to the citrus industry will be the main consideration, but other activities may also be of interest. Provide information that is creative but not too lengthy.
All nominations must be submitted using the nomination form as a cover sheet, but there is no specific format for the corresponding information. Electronic nominations in the form of Word or PDF files are encouraged.
Electronic nominations can be emailed to KristiJ@FlCitrusMutual.com. Hard copies should be sent to Florida Citrus Hall of Fame, c/o Florida Citrus Mutual, P.O. Box 1576, Bartow, FL 33831-1576.
Visit the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame website to see a list of past inductees, learn how to donate to the organization and more.
