Florida Citrus Mutual Installs Officers and Directors

Citrus grower trade association Florida Citrus Mutual (FCM) installed its board of directors and officers at the association’s 77th annual meeting. The meeting was held in conjunction with the Florida Citrus Industry Annual Conference in June.

The officers are:

  • President: Kevin Koppelman, Heller Bros. Packing Company
  • Area Vice Presidents: Glenn Beck, Beck Agricultural Holdings, LLP; Weston Soria, Sorrells Citrus, Inc. and Andy Russell, Russell Grove South
  • Treasurer: Mark Wheeler, Wheeler Farms, Inc.
  • Secretary: Jim Snively, Southern Gardens Grove Corporation

In addition, FCM staff members Matt Joyner, Melanie Burns and Kevin Metheny will serve as executive vice president, executive secretary and executive treasurer, respectively.

The 2025–27 board of directors members are: 

  • District 1 (Hernando, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Pasco, Seminole and Volusia counties): Glenn Beck, Beck Agricultural Holdings, LLP and Ric Freeman, PH Freeman & Sons, Inc.
  • District 2 (Hillsborough and Polk counties): Larry Black, Peace River Packing Company; Kenny DeVane, DeVane Citrus, Inc.; Corby Myers, Myers Groves, Inc.; Christian Spinosa, Putnam Groves, Inc. and Kyle Story, Story Grove Service, Inc.
