The AgNet Media team extends a heartfelt thank-you to all of the exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, attendees and, most importantly, the growers who made the Florida Citrus Show such a special and successful event.

Events like the Florida Citrus Show are about more than just gathering together for a day. They are about creating a space for growers to continue learning, growing and evolving alongside an industry that continues to face challenges with resilience and determination.

This year’s show, held at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Indian River Research and Education Center and the U.S. Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Research Service U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory in Fort Pierce, gave attendees the opportunity to hear from industry leaders, participate in educational sessions and connect with others who are deeply invested in the future of Florida citrus and specialty crops.

That spirit of hope and perseverance was captured well by Citrus Research and Field Trial Foundation Executive Director Steven Hall, who shared his confidence in the road ahead for the industry.

“I believe in the citrus industry. I believe in our growers,” Hall said. “They have every incentive to continue building on the legacy that they are already building on every day. With the science that’s out there and my faith in our growers, there will be a bright future in the citrus industry.”

His words serve as a reminder of exactly why events like this matter. The Florida Citrus Show exists to support growers with the knowledge, resources and connections they need to keep moving the industry forward.

In addition to the educational seminars, the day also included plenty of opportunities for conversation, fellowship and fun. The tailgate-style lunch once again brought everyone together in a relaxed setting and added to the sense of community that makes this event so meaningful. Congratulations to Magna-Bon for winning top honors with its pimento cheeseburger sliders.

The AgNet Media team is incredibly grateful to every person and company who helped make this year’s Florida Citrus Show possible. We are proud to host events that bring this community together, and we look forward to seeing that momentum continue long after the show ends.
