The August issue of Citrus Industry magazine serves as the show guide for the 2017 Citrus Expo. Now in its 26th year, Citrus Expo is the largest trade show and seminar program of its kind in the United States.
The event takes place August 16–17 at the Lee Civic Center in North Fort Myers, Florida. This year, Citrus Expo is pleased to welcome U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue and Congressman Tom Rooney to the show.
You’ll find everything you need to get the most out of Citrus Expo in the August issue. Items included are a schedule of events, trade show floor plan, exhibitor directory and sponsor list. Not to be missed is a preview of prizes up for grabs at the annual FFA Fundraiser Raffle. Be sure to stay for the raffle drawing at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, when Secretary Perdue will pull the winning tickets. Get more event information at www.CitrusExpo.net.
Also included in the August issue of Citrus Industry are articles on the impact of temperature on psyllid survival, trials of new scion/rootstock combinations, artichoke as a potential new crop in Florida and more. Subscribers to the magazine will also have the opportunity to earn a core continuing education unit by reading an article on the diverse roles of adjuvants in crop protection.
