Uncle Matt’s Organic is reintroducing its Matt50™ Orange Juice (OJ) Beverage as Orange Light. Orange Light contains half the sugar and calories as regular OJ. It is boosted with vitamin C, plus prebiotics and probiotics for gut health and immune support.

Orange Light is available at Whole Foods Market and Sprouts Farmers Market locations nationwide and is also available for purchase directly at Shop.UncleMatts.com.
According to Uncle Matt’s Organic, the average American consumes more than three times the recommended amount of sugar, so finding ways to reduce intake without sacrificing on taste is important. Orange Light contains organic Reb M stevia, which the company says delivers sugar-like sweetness with zero calories.
Other Uncle Matt’s Organic products include Ultimate Immune Organic Orange Juice, Ultimate Defense Orange Juice with Turmeric and Probiotics, Ultimate Shots and Organic Orange Juice with Calcium and Vitamin D, in addition to its core orange and grapefruit juices and line of lemonades.
Uncle Matt’s Organic uses only 100% organically grown fruit that is free from synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and genetically modified organisms. All of Uncle Matt’s Organicproducts are certified Glyphosate Residue Free by the Detox Project.
The company describes itself as the nation’s oldest organic orange juice company. Matt McLean, who is uncle to 10 nieces and nephews and a fourth-generation Florida citrus grower, ventured into the organic juice business in 1999.
Dean Foods purchased the business in 2017. But in 2020, Uncle Matt’s Organic announced it had been “welcomed back home” to McLean. It explained that Dean Foods filed for bankruptcy in November 2019, presenting the opportunity for McLean to bid for the brand he started. Learn more about the company’s transition back to McLean here.
