
The Florida Citrus Commission’s (FCC) Global Marketing Committee on March 18 reported on several Florida Department of Citrus (FDOC) marketing efforts.
FLORIDA ORANGE JUICE
The committee reported that attributed Florida orange juice (OJ) sales have reached $36.15 million to date with 2.73 million units sold, exceeding the attributed sales goal of $35 million.
To further advance the True Original campaign, a lifestyle photo shoot held in December 2025 has produced more than 100 images. They will be used across marketing channels to further boost engagement with juice consumers.
The FDOC stated that Florida OJ continues to shine at the Benchmark Arena and through the Tampa Bay Lightning partnership. Early metrics from the marketing activities show:
- More than 1,900 in-person interactions
- More than 3 million impressions
- More than $430,000 worth in broadcast media equivalency value
- More than 1.6 million broadcast impressions from the True Original video ad placements
- Nearly three hours of added value exposure through in-arena signage placement
FRESH CITRUS
The fresh citrus program included efforts to reach retail decision makers, including sharing insights about citrus shoppers, the value of stocking Florida citrus in produce sections and the importance of origin labeling. The effort generated 3.3 million impressions and 4,000 engagements, helping strengthen the case for Florida citrus at retail.
A citrus product and recipe shoot scheduled for the week of March 23 will help strengthen engaging content across all channels for fresh in the coming fiscal year and beyond.
Florida grapefruit is in the midst of marketing activities with the Grapefruit League Spring Training partnership. So far, the campaign has delivered more than 30 total activations. The activations include 21 in-game grower highlights and 10 in-stadium tabling activations connecting Florida grapefruit with fans during the peak of spring training. In addition, in-stadium signage and creative as well as regional broadcast placements have helped generate more than 1.2 million broadcast impressions.
