At the International Citrus Business Conference, speakers will discuss strategic issues that concern the citrus industry, including HLB, juice production and how markets around the world compare to one another.

Chris Stone, of Winter Haven, Florida, will be speaking at the conference about the impact that HLB has on prices and availability of cold-pressed citrus oils.

Stone said he has 23 years of experience working in citrus-related fields, including propagation, citrus oils, and juice purchases and sales. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in citrus and horticultural sciences from Florida Southern College. Currently, Stone works at Flotek Flavors and Fragrances, which is also known as Florida Chemical.

Stone will be speaking at the International Citrus Business Conference on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. He is one of more than 20 citrus industry leaders from around the world who will be presenting at the two-day conference. The event, hosted by Morris Agribusiness Services and AgNet Media, is designed to share strategic information and spark conversations among citrus industry professionals.
