The day we have been waiting for is almost here. The Florida Citrus Show will open at 8:00 a.m. on April 3. There will be plenty of time to enjoy breakfast and network with exhibitors before the general session begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Indian River Research and Education Center (IRREC) in Fort Pierce.

The event offers plenty of great food, tailgate games and networking opportunities. The tailgate party will begin at 11:00 a.m. Be sure to stop by every exhibitor booth to try their delicious tailgate treats. Check out what some exhibitors are bringing here. Growers have the opportunity to vote for their favorite dish. By voting, growers will be entered into a drawing for $500 cash. Stick around until the end of the tailgate party to find out the winner!

At 2:00 p.m., separate citrus and vegetable seminar sessions will be held. The citrus program takes place in the IRREC, and the vegetable program will be held next door at in the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory. New this year, vegetable learning stations will be available for growers to visit with experts. The stations will be open before and after the sessions.

We look forward to seeing you at the show! You can register onsite in front of the U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory. Registration, sponsored by Redox Bio-Nutrients, is complimentary for commercial growers, farm owners and managers, professional crop advisers, association executives and board members, and the government, legislative and agricultural research communities.
