The Florida Citrus Show is just a week away. Preregistration for the event ends on Sunday, March 8. So, sign up now to skip the onsite registration process.

The event is on March 12 at 8:00 a.m. at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Indian River Research and Education Center and the U.S. Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service U.S. Horticultural Research Laboratory in Fort Pierce.

The Florida Citrus Show promises to be a great day of learning and networking with growers and other industry stakeholders. The educational program will provide presentations for both citrus and small fruit and vegetable growers. Check out the full agenda here.

Much of the recent activity to promote tree planting and encourage existing HLB therapies has been incentivized by the Citrus Research and Field Trial (CRAFT) Foundation. CRAFT Executive Director Steven Hall will moderate a panel of growers who participate in CRAFT programs who will tell how the programs have benefited their operations. The growers participating on the panel include Daniel Hunt, Daniel Scott and Tommy Thayer. A demonstration of how to the use the CRAFT data portal also will be presented.

The trade show portion of the event will give growers an opportunity to browse the inputs, products and services needed to produce a successful crop. During lunch, there will be plenty to eat between what the AgNet Media team is cooking up and the many participating vendors who are serving from their booths tailgate-style. It will be a great environment for catching up with friends and sharing ideas.
