Seeking Florida Citrus Hall of Fame Nominations

Nominations are being sought by Sept. 15 for potential inductees to the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame. Eligible nominees are distinguished leaders who have made significant contributions to the Florida citrus industry in any of the following fields: pioneering, harvesting, packing, processing, marketing, science and/or education.

The Florida Citrus Hall of Fame luncheon and induction ceremony is tentatively scheduled to take place in the George Jenkins Fieldhouse at Florida Southern College in Lakeland on April 2, 2027. The event will be co-sponsored by Florida Citrus Mutual and The Florida Department of Citrus.

The mission of the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame is to recognize distinguished Florida citrus industry leaders who have made significant contributions to the industry and to preserve and share the rich heritage of Florida citrus. The organization is involved with and committed to an outreach program that tells the history of the Florida citrus industry and the people who have done so much to make the industry a dynamic force in Florida.
